As there have been no real contributions in years yet many gigabytes have been served (millions of vistiors) and only a single person offered to assist when a plea was sent out this site (matsumoku.org) will be shutting down.  Never once was there an ad or subscription fee levied. It never cost a single visitor a single penny.

It is too much for one person to manage considering every kiddie with a computer thinks they're the next Kevin Mitnick (hacker) or cloud services running thousands of AI data scrapers hammerning the site. I simply can't afford to spend as much as 7 or 8 hours a day monitoring traffic and circumventing new hack attempts. I can't afford managed hosting. Shared hosting services only help so much. There are simply too many inconsiderate a-holes on the net.

No, I will NOT give the site away. No, the domain is NOT for sale. The last time I allowed someone to take the reigns for a while it turned into a porn and viagra store. It took weeks to regain control and clean up the mess. Or it will become just another ad laden money machine and I'll be damned if some yuppie **** is going to cash in on all the hard work that went into this site, all done for free by many. If someone was knowledgeable enough to take over they should have offered to help before things got to this point.

The free ride is over.

And to those concerned, hack and scrape someone else.

Both Webline Hosting and A2 Hosting were of little help as they refused to block the incessant connections from abusive services such as Alibaba, Microsoft, Huawei Cloud, Hetzner Hosting among others in their firewall. As a result the access logs were FLOODED with these denied connections making site monitoring impossible. A2's "Guru Crew Support" is also a bad joke. Shared hosting means you get web space but beyond that you're on your own and they don't give a ****.
